The RS300-E9-PS4 is extremely expandable, with 2 expansion slots.  This offers a wide range of benefits in storage and networking and also makes this model future-proof.

This Chassis incorporates ASUS PIKE II as an optional feature, offering 12Gb/s SAS, which runs at twice the speed of past generations and PCI-E 3.0 making for a faster and more reliable connection.

There are several choices forOSDrive Placement, like M.2 SSD Cage and SATA DOM.  The store capacity allows for up to 4 x 3.5” hot-swap disk bays and 2 x internal 2.5” SSD bays.

The RS300-E9-PS4 uses Quad Server-Class IntelLAN Controllers to double queues compared with previous models.  This benefits such applications as those that run virtualisation.  Aside from this, the network bandwidth is improved 4-fold and delivers an uninterrupted network connection through its failover function.

As with other ASUS Chassis we have reviewed, this Chassis includes complete remote server control, including out-of-band ASMB8-iKVM and in-band ASWM Enterprise.  Utilising these server controls, end users can use a single graphical interface to monitor allservers
