The Thecus N2050BD is a cost efficient eSATA/USB2.0 external hard drive enclosure that supports 2 SATA 3Gb/s drives, up to a total capacity of 1TB. The N2050 is a superb choice for media buffs that have a large media collection, and need to access it in a hurry. With eSATA, the N2050 boasts up to 3Gb/s of data transfer speed – that's six times faster than high-speed USB 2.0!
The hardware RAID controller lets you set up a RAID array. Level 0 gives you high speed access. Level 1 mirrors the information onto both hard drives for maximum data security.
The included eSATA card makes it possible to attach the unit to almost any PC and have the computer see the drives as internal drives.

With RAID 1, the Thecus N2050BD automatically saves your data on two hard disks for easy replacement should one fail. -
PCI eSATA Card Included The included PCI eSATA card provides high-speed eSATA connection between the Thecus N2050BD and your computer.
