How we can help - Can we still provide Windows 7 solutions?
Published by Richard Parry on 21st Dec 2018
I am afraid not – Windows 7 went end of support in January 2015. We managed to source Windows 7 licences into 2017 but since then none have been manufactured by Microsoft.
Microsoft however do still provide volume licensing, but this isn’t available to purchase or get new contracts with.
We will still have customers who use Windows 7 on their servers/PCs and we are able to install this for them and set this up with their own licensing.
We would however recommend Windows 10 for a desktop OS, which is fully supported and the current offering from Microsoft.
If you’d like to talk to us about a Microsoft Windows 7 (or newer) system, please get in touch and one of our solution specialists would be happy to help.
