The world’s leading motherboard maker for 25 years, ASUS is certainly a Taiwanese business whose name has become synonymous with technological hardware. ASUS’ product range varies from the aforementioned motherboards to monitors and, especially important to us, servers. From a few ambitious engineers having a conversation in a coffee shop, ASUS grew quickly. Just one year after opening in 1989, ASUS launched the EISA 486 motherboard, which quickly became the most popular motherboard in the world. Within three years, ASUS had become formal partners with Intel, who could see them for the ingenuitive and innovative business they were and are.
