Introduction to Intel

Published by Richard Parry on 1st Apr 2020

Intel are among the first companies which come to mind when thinking of computing technology. Known for being one of the most successful processor manufacturers and innovators in the world, Intel’s impact on the computing industry has been profound. Their belief in constant evolution, (which has driven their product development), has made compute processes smarter, quicker and more efficient. However, while processors are what Intel is best known for, they also provide a range of reliable Solid-State Drives and excellent NUC mini-PCs, all of which Server Case can provide:

Intel began in 1968 in California, with the name being a combination of Integrated Electronics. They began selling memory chips, but their first true success came with their dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) chips. They kept reaching milestone after milestone before creating the first microprocessor, the Intel 4004 in 1971, whose successor, the 8008, became the industry standard for some years. Fast forward to today and Intel is hard at work on solving global challenges through their corporate social responsibility while developing new technologies for future use in the AI sector, among others.

Here at Server Case UK, we supply businesses and clients of all sizes with Intel SSD’s, NUC PCs and Processors, which we integrate into the servers and workstations they purchase from us. We are qualified to work with Intel given our strong partnership with them. In beginning the partnership procedure in June 2017, after a few months, we became an Intel Gold Partner. Due to our continued collaboration in 2018, we elevated ourselves to Platinum Partners for 2019 and have secured our platinum status until 2021.
