Fujitsu eLux RL Operating System for Thin Clients (License including 2 Years Software Support)

eLux RL, the new generation following the successful eLux NG, is a newly designed Linux-based embedded operating system, especially developed for vendorindependent Thin Clients in server-based environments, thus taking advantage of the centralization in networks and the reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership for which Thin Clients are known. eLux RL supports many different hardware platforms. The new basic technology with kernel 2.6 provides for much better detection of thin client hardware, peripheral hardware and USB drives. The state-of-the-art GNOME Desktop offers great comfort and the graphical user interface has been streamlined to ensure a fast boot phase and to offer Thin Client users a fast, comfortable and secure access to Windows applications and servers. Neither the end-user nor the administrator needs Linux knowledge.
