The ShareCenter 2-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure (DNS-320L) is a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device with mydlink Cloud Services, backup and media features that make it ideal for storing and sharing photos, music, movies and work files on a home or business network. This ShareCenterTM Cloud Storage device enables you to share documents and media content such as photos, music and videos on a home network or over the Internet. Via the mydlink portal you can, download and upload files, delete files/folders from their NAS and check the status of your device remotely. With the mydlink Access-NAS app available for iPhone, iPad and Android you can in addition view photos, stream music and videos from your mobile devices. You can download files from your NAS to your mobile device to send on or watch later. Files can be furthermore uploaded to a ShareCenter and backed up, meaning that you won't run out of space on their mobile devices. If you have with further technical knowledge you can manage the contents of their ShareCenterTM from any FTP client. The built-in UPnP media server will stream the media content on your ShareCenter to any compatible media player such as the PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, and D-Link Boxee Box over your local network.

The SharecentreTM 2-Bay Cloud Network Storage Enclosure has a Gigabit port for the fastest connectivity possible to your home network. RAID 1 technology ensures that your valuable data is secure by mirroring the contents of one hard drive to another, so if one drive fails, your data is still safe. The confidentiality and integrity of all your files is guaranteed as you can give rights to specific users or groups and assign them to folders with read/write permissions. This function is ideal for the home, where children's access can be restricted to only age-appropriate materials, while ensuring that nobody can delete your files by accident. This ShareCenter device is part of D-Link Green, D-Link's programme for providing eco-friendly alternatives without compromising performance: if the Hard Drives are not used in a configurable period of time, or data is not being transmitted, the SharecentreTM will enter stand-by mode to save power.
